After completing elementary, middle and high school in Erzurum, Turkey, attended to Ataturk University Faculty of Dentistry in 1992. Honor graduating the faculty in 1997, received PhD degree in Pediatric dentistry in 2003. Subsequently, started to work as assistant professor in the department of pediatric dentistry, Ataturk University Faculty of Dentistry. Completed military service serving as a reserve officer in the department of Pediatric Dentistry in Gulhane Academy of Military Medicine in 2005-2006. Has been promoted to associate professor in 2008 and to professor in 2014. Currently worked as the dean of academics and the head of the department of pediatric dentistry in Istanbul Health and Technology University.
